other than video card what gives fps boost / power?

more ram? im currently at 1024 ddr2 ram... i could go to 2000 or so...
does a better NIC like Killer NIC I Gaming Network Card I Bigfoot Networks (http://www.KillerNIC.com) (network interface card) truely increase fps?

i'm currently at nvidia geforce 7300gt i could go to a 7600gt... pci express.

i have a good computer yet with anti aliasing and ani sotropic filtering on 2x / 2x high quality 1280 x 1024 resolution my cs source runs at 34 fps... why so low? with anti aliasing off i run at 85 fps... weird...

please any info would greatly be appreciated.

Duckys current ATI card your talking about is comparable to an 5500 mabye if even, it's old. Of course it pwns ;x, but i bet a high up ati can pwn a 8800

Nvm, intergrated, rifk, i meant comparable to a 4400mx mabye.

I heard ram makes some difference such as better registry, little less lag, better computer performance and maybe a little fps boost. Also someone told me that you need a decent or really good processor to.

Nice sm0ked haha shit.

If you gotta good video card, make sures you gotta good CPU(duals at least), otherwise your CPU will bottleneck your GPU. Which means your CPU won't handle all your frames for GPU, or say can't handle higher resolutions, AA/AF ect, basically if you gotta good GPU, make sure you gotta CPU just as good, and ram helps alot too.
