View Full Version : Computer Problems
Alright, So i bought a new computer. And the problem is, when ever I play CSS or WoW I get this lag spike every 5mins and it some times crashes my computer. It's becoming annoying as fuck. Do any of you know what's wrong with it? And some one said that it's my internet, and i could understand that because I'm wireless on a desktop... Any help is appreciated. I'll post the specs if needed.
Wireless doesn't mean anything. Try updating your graphics drivers.
Find out what graphics card you have. If it's from the manufacturer than you might need to buy a new up to date one.
It's a NVIDIA GEfore 8400 GS..Also, It's not my drivers because I just downloaded the newst version for Nvidia.
When the lag spike is over does the game load or does it crash?
It loads. How ever, it does make WoW crash.
pc specs please ;)
btw nvdia 8400 sux hard ;)

You? Are you sure it wasn't teh Hexpope?
A few people that I talked to said that it's the fact that I'm running Vista. I'm going to try and get Xp through warranty later today. Thanks for every ones help.
It can't be vista. Whoever said that was wrong.
Vista can run CS:S and WoW.
They're insane, lql

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Active Setup\Installed Components\
Check for A folder with just a stubpath. Kix.
Btw, or your connection is not setup right or your part of a botnet.
Or all of the above.
